Southern Cross Canvas Products along with their range of touring tents manufacture Family Cabin tents. These style tents are timeless classic style tents, in which even to this day are popular with families who are wishing to spend their family holidays at that favourite spot in which they enjoy getting away to.

The two styles available are obviously all constructed of the same materials and the same workmanship, however are different in size.

Southern Cross Canvas products are Australian made and designed for our Australian conditions.

All Southern Cross Canvas tents are manufactured from Australian made canvas which has a high tear strength and a high water head (waterproof) with a low shrinkage factor.

Like all our canvas goods they are all manufactured locally in Bayswater, Victoria by a team of experienced and dedicated staff to the highest standards of workmanship and quality.

Southern Cross Canvas Cabin Tents feature:

- Unique design features make tents extremely stable even in the worst weather conditions.

- The canvas is rot & mildew resistant, also has a UV rating of 50+ protection.

- Large Windows providing the best ventilation possible.

- Super fine UV Stabilised flyscreens which are sandfly/midgee proof.

- Floors are made from Canvacon 5000 a heavy duty material in which the seams are welded and a tub design is implemented for maximum weather proofing.

- All steel work is made locally from premium materials.

- Heavy duty zips with locking runners and high door steps for dry entry.

- Power lead inlet flaps.

- Provisions for zip on pvc window flaps (for those tents in the range with internal window systems)

- Stainless steel ‘O’ rings which will not rust.
